Residential Winter Disaster in Milwaukee Area
Wisconsin winters can be the cause of a plethora of household emergencies. In this home, a slightly opened attic window caused the water pipes to freeze and eventually burst. Water flowed from the attic down through the main floor, eventually settling in the basement where these photos were taken.
Being February, coupled with the extent of the damage meant utilities were shut off. It would normally be very difficult to dry out an entire house in this condition. We were able to bring in our own heating and venting system in order to heat the house, dry it's contents, and allow this family back into their home in pre-disaster condition.
